A leading company from the real estate industry has chosen Ghelamco’s office building as its headquarters. CBRE leased more than 4000 sq. m in Warsaw UNIT, the developer’s flagship project which is being built at Rondo Daszyńskiego.
CBRE will occupy more than 4000 sq. m on three storeys of Warsaw UNIT. The project is planned to be completed in early 2021.
“As the commercial property market in Poland continues to grow dynamically, our company is developing fast, too. 20 years ago, when CBRE was starting its operations in Poland, the team consisted of 23 persons. Now there are more than 500 of us. Our choice of the new headquarters was driven by excellent location and top standards of the building. Warsaw UNIT will be the first skyscraper in Poland to receive the prestigious WELL certificate in its newest v2 Core version. Environmental impact is particularly important for us as we have committed to reducing by 25 percent the carbon footprint of the commercial properties we have influence on as a part of Real Impact Project,” says Daniel Bienias, Managing Director, CBRE.
“We fully appreciate the significance of the fact that the top real estate professionals, who advise their partners on, among others, choosing the most suitable office, have decided to locate their headquarters in Warsaw UNIT. We are convinced that the building will meet the expectations of all employees,” says Jarosław Zagórski, Commercial and Business Development Director, Ghelamco Poland.
The new business centre of Warsaw, which is emerging near Rondo Daszyńskiego, is attracting leading companies from the real estate, insurance and financial sectors. Thanks in large part to Ghelamco’s projects, one of the key office locations is being developed here.

About Warsaw UNIT
Warsaw UNIT is being built at Rondo Daszyńskiego, in the very heart of Warsaw’s new business centre. The 202-metre high building will provide 57,000 sq. m of modern office space on 45 floors. It is the first skyscraper in Poland to be applying for the newest WELL v2 Core certificate.
Major roads and transfer hubs meet in the direct vicinity of Warsaw UNIT. Nearby there is the second metro line, bus and tram stops, as well as the urban and suburban train station.
The project’s uniqueness lies in its architecture, which refers to the modernist heritage enriched with innovative solutions. The podium of the building will be covered by kinetic facade known as the “Dragon Skin”, made of thousands of moving plates. It will visibly react to every puff of wind, forming on its surface unique images modelled by forces of nature.
The ground floor of the skyscraper will host commercial spaces and food amenities, available from the street level. The building will also provide a multi-storey garage for over 450 cars as well as infrastructure for cyclists, including parking lot for bicycles, locker rooms and showers.
